Joe Turk, Artist and Author ~Personal Branding. We assisted Joe Turk, upcoming artist and author of two popular novels, in deciding it was time to get serious about his personal brand. We developed a branding scheme as well as a full website and assisted Joe in introducing Fine Art Wearable sales. Joe Turks brand of quirky, gorgeous and unexpected art combined with his funny, off-the-wall SciFi novels led us to study letter combinations and shapes that matched the personality of Joes works. While researching, we spotted an unusual font that seemed to fit and used it as a rough form for the final logo, making multiple changes in Illustrator while retaining the personality. Other elements employed is the 'Squid', reflective of a popular art-piece, that is part of the logo and also can be used alone as a unique icon. The result is a strong, timeless, fun logo that is easily recognizable, powerful and wholly reflective of Joes Art and Novels. www.joeturkstudio.com
